Area Director Election

Dear AYSO Area 11R Members,

We hope this message finds you well. As we continue our mission to provide a positive and enriching soccer experience for our youth, we are reaching out to inform you of an exciting leadership opportunity within your region.

We are now opening the nomination period for the position of Area Director. The Area Director plays a vital role in managing and guiding your area, ensuring that all AYSO programs run smoothly and that we continue to uphold the values and standards of AYSO.

Nomination Process:

Nomination Period Ends: 2/16/26
Eligibility: Any member in good standing within the Area may be nominated. Preferred AYSO Executive Member experience, and board position would be a positive.
How to Nominate: Submit nominations via email to Denver McClellan, Chair of the Nomination Committee at [email protected].
Nomination Requirements: Please include the nominee's name, contact information, and a brief statement of why they would be an excellent fit for the role.

Selection Process:

All nominations will be reviewed by the Nomination Committee.
Shortlisted candidates will be vetted/interview by the Nomination Committee.
The final selection will be made through a voting process by the eligible-voting Regional Commissioners and overseen by the Section Director.

We encourage all members to consider nominating themselves or others who have the passion and dedication to leady our region. Your participation in this process is crucial to ensuring we select a strong and capable leader who will help your Region thrive.
